Sisters in Science

An after school program that addresses the Science, Mathematics and Technology literacy of fifth grades girls. The SIS club provides girls with an enriching opportunity to cover numerous science, math and technology topics throughout their middle school years. One day per week, fifth grade girls participate in science, mathematics and technology enrichment activities.

Special family events are held on a quarterly basis for parents and fifth grade girls. Parents are also provided with science-fact, mathematics, technology-tip sheets and home activity ideas to engage their daughter in science, mathematics and technology learning. Professional women, educators and graduate students from Dallas county area are among the program speakers.
