Bernadette Nutall
Bernadette is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Circle of Support, Inc., a summer learning program focusing on science, math, art, reading and technology (S.M.A.R.T.) serving over 250 young girls and boys.
Bernadette is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Circle of Support, Inc., a summer learning program focusing on science, math, art, reading and technology (S.M.A.R.T.) serving over 250 young girls and boys.
In 1999 she co-founded Circle of Support, originally to serve girls in south and west Dallas but subsequently expanded to serve boys as well. She has been working to develop and grow that program ever since. Bernadette has been recognized for her work by the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, has received the Mobil Pegasus Award for Excellence in Teaching, the James Cash Penney Award for Community Service and the "On the Move" Award from the Daniel "Chappie" James Learning Center. Bernadette was recently elected to the Dallas Independent School Board of Trustees.

Support Team
In addition, there is a staff of 52 teachers, interns and support staff comprised of certified teachers who are joined in the classroom by a youth teacher assistant, insuring a maximum student to teacher ratio of 16:1. In addition to providing academic, enrichment and physical activities, we provide nutritionally balanced meals which means that we hire certified kitchen staff to prepare nutritional meals during the S.M.A.R.T. Summer Learning Program.
